Shaun Haywood

I have been working in the mortgage industry for over 20 years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to help hundreds of families achieve the dream of home ownership, as well as helping experienced investors expand their real estate portfolios. I have experience with FHA, VA, USDA and conventional financing types, and have worked with agricultural and commercial clients as well.

Whether the client is looking to purchase their first home, or is a seasoned investor looking for their next opportunity, I have the experience and qualifications to help them make the best mortgage decision for their overall goals. I enjoy working with all types of clients, but particularly enjoy working with first time home buyers. I know the mortgage process can be daunting, and do my best to ease any anxiety that his clients may be feeling. I feel the best way to accomplish this is to be open and honest, and make sure that the clients have a true understanding of their options. This way, I can advise and empower them to make an informed decision.

Prior to my career in the mortgage business, I was a professional operatic tenor. My experience in opera allowed me to travel all over the United States as well as Europe. I was fortunate to have met all kinds of people, and can converse in German, Italian and French as a result. I live in south Austin with my wife Alexia and son Hudson.
